My name is Dan Gooch. I live in Mesa, AZ, on my own, in a little apartment with loud neighbors, about 40 miles from where I was born. I’m a graduate of homeschool high and consider nearly all the time I spent in college a waste.
I’m a geek in the purest sense. I like gadgets, numbers, programming, Linux, and staying indoors on a beautiful day. I have trouble relating with a lot of people because of this kind of thinking.
I’m politically conservative (read: classically liberal) but have a strong distaste for both major parties and am therefore registered as an independent. I’m a Christian but have no particular denominational affiliation, though I grew up in a Missionary church.
I like spicy foods, mild foods, and everything in between. I drink alcohol and smoke cigars on occasion, but infrequently enough that it usually notates a special occasion of sorts.
I can come across as a huge jerk, but generally don’t mean to. My people skills aren’t always up to par, as any of my friends can attest.
