Dull Razor

Congratulations, GLBT movement. Congratulations, all those who associate themselves with this movement. Congratulations, you sick, insane, disgusting, rage-filled perverts. You’ve managed to turn someone who voted against Prop 102 into someone who will be opposing your every effort and every cause from this point forward. Your actions are vile, your tactics are sickening, your behavior reprehensible. I’m ashamed to share my country with the likes of you.

You, who assault little old ladies, steal their cross and stomp on it as you surround and scream at her for daring to oppose you. You, who surround Bible study groups, throwing coffee and soda and urine on those gathered in prayer. You, who steal a girl’s Bible, beat her with it, and then kick her while she’s lying on the ground. You, who attempt to molest the members of the prayer group even as the police are escorting them to safety away from your riotous mob. You, who threaten to burn down churches. You, who beat up a couple in their 70s for leaving Yes On Prop 8 signs on their lawn.

You, who sing the praises of “freedom” and “tolerance” on one hand, while assaulting strangers, downcrying all opposition, preaching hate to any that will listen, and spewing your vitriol onto the dinner tables of the nation as the evening news brings us word of your latest disgusting antics.

You are my enemy, and I will do all I can to undo you.

You have made it very clear that you do not seek equality, or freedom, or tolerance. You seek total endorsement from everyone, and anyone that dares think you are wrong will be trampled underfoot. You turn my community into a battleground for your movement, a movement that has already lost at the polls, as public opinion slides further and further from your side with each new move you make. You have been defeated, the people have spoken, but you don’t care, because you think you’re above the people. You think that by crying “bigot” and “homophobe” you can silence any opposition, because they’ll be too scared of the label.

If I am a bigot for calling you out on being intolerant decievers, bullies, perverts, criminals, enemies of my country and of liberty in general, then by all means, apply it. I embrace the title. It doesn’t justify your actions, and it only shows how separated from reality you are – see, I looked up bigot in the dictionary once, and it was defined as “a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.”

Sounds kind of like you, doesn’t it?
